The lower area of the land has a 10'x16' shed that is insulated throughout, windows added (some double-paned), with walls finished in tongue and groove knotty pine. An 7'x9' screen porch was added on the north side last year but has not been completed. There is also an older (1980s) 20' RV used for storage and a guest space.
As this is a wet area, the ground is covered in drainage rock and sand. A vernal pool provides frogs, dragonfies, butterflies, and hummingbirds with a sweet little playground.
It is fenced in enough to keep our old dogs from going into the road, with woven branches and small trees added for a bit of privacy. Nearly every bit of sun space is planted with native trees, bushes, flowers, and herbs.
Two rustic stairways lead to an old logging road which forms one part of our year round walking path into the forest and to the upper area. The old tile well is on the path between the upper and lower area. A third set of steps leads to a little woodsy area and Electric Avenue.
